Why choose the Husqvarna Automower® 308V?
The 308V is a strong fit for small to medium domestic gardens where you want a modern wire-free installation without jumping into the larger NERA platform. Virtual boundaries are created in Automower® Connect, while the built-in camera helps the mower recognise and avoid common objects on the lawn.

Wire-free installation
The 308V uses satellite positioning to create virtual work areas and stay-out zones rather than relying on a buried perimeter wire. For the standard cloud-based setup, reliable Wi-Fi coverage is needed across the lawn together with the free Automower® Connect app.
If Wi-Fi coverage is weak, alternative connectivity options or a compatible reference station may be more suitable.
AI vision and obstacle avoidance
The built-in camera can identify common objects on the lawn and guide the mower around them. AI vision also supports navigation where the satellite signal is temporarily weaker, provided the mower can still see usable grass.
Choose the lawn finish you want
Systematic mowing can create stripes, checkerboard or triangular patterns across lawns up to 800 m². If you prefer a softer, carpet-like finish, irregular mowing is available for areas up to 500 m².

308V FAQs
Does the 308V need a boundary wire?
No physical perimeter wire is needed for the standard virtual installation. Work areas and stay-out zones are created in the Automower® Connect app.
Do I need Wi-Fi across the whole garden?
For the standard cloud-based wire-free installation, yes. Reliable Wi-Fi coverage is needed across the work area. Other connectivity options may be available where coverage is unsuitable.
Will AI vision work at night?
The mower can still operate after dark, but camera-supported object avoidance and vision-assisted navigation depend on suitable light conditions.
Is the 308V right for my lawn?
If your lawn is comfortably below 800 m² and you want wire-free mowing with AI obstacle awareness, it is one of the strongest entry points in the current Automower range. For larger lawns, compare it with the 312V or NERA models.
Keep it cutting cleanly
Sharp blades help maintain a cleaner cut and reduce unnecessary load on the cutting system. Blade Club is being built to make routine blade replacement automatic.
