Why choose the Husqvarna Automower® 305E NERA?
The 305E NERA is a strong choice if you want the flexibility of virtual boundaries but also want to reduce the strip of grass left beside lawn edges. Its EdgeCut system adds a second cutting disc specifically to reach closer to borders.

EdgeCut means less trimming
The additional rear cutting disc reaches closer to lawn borders than the main cutting disc alone. It does not eliminate every bit of occasional edging around awkward corners or walls, but it can significantly reduce follow-up trimming.
Virtual boundaries with wired support if needed
The standard cloud-based wire-free installation uses satellite positioning and Automower® Connect to create work areas and stay-out zones. The 305E NERA can also use physical boundary wire in selected areas where buildings, trees or other obstacles make satellite visibility difficult.
Choose your preferred finish
Systematic mowing supports stripe, checkerboard and triangular patterns across lawns up to 900 m². Irregular mowing is available up to 600 m² for a softer, carpet-like finish.

305E NERA FAQs
Does it need a perimeter wire?
No for the standard wire-free installation. Physical wire remains available as a useful fallback in selected problem areas.
Do I need Wi-Fi across the lawn?
Yes for the standard cloud-based virtual installation. Where coverage is unsuitable, other connectivity or reference-station options may be more appropriate.
Does EdgeCut remove all trimming?
No, but it substantially reduces the uncut strip normally left alongside borders.
Does the 305E NERA have object detection?
No camera or radar-based object detection is fitted, so it is still sensible to keep toys, tools and loose objects off the lawn.
